Guru Tegh Bahadur was beheaded on orders of Aurangjeb in front of massive crowd in Delhi. Crowd would have liked and cheered to see a kafir getting beheaded. Same way Mughals carried spectacle of torture, touring 800 Sikhs on the roads of Delhi, torturing them, there must have been nice spectacle for local Muslims, cheering Allah hu Akbar behind the crowd.
Aurangjeb was not alone, he was what Muslims in general are.
I was buying eggs in Bharat Bakery in Airoli. One person comes " Khari ....Toast..." Muslim shopkeeper says..." Aaap to bhai hain na? " person replies " Han, Anwar, Anwar Bhai..".

In the Muslim eye, all human beings are not equal. There are Muslims and there are others. So when Taliban killed 85 school children on 8th May 2021, there was no protest by Muslims at all. But on the same day, there were some clashes in Jerusalem, minor injuries, and whole Muslim ummah came out in anger. It is because the feeling that Talibans are other equal to them, while Jews Christian or Hindu are inferior, other (not part of ummah brotherhood).
Indian Muslim come onto road rioting for establishment of khalif, rioting asking Israel to vacate Palestine, but they never came onto road asking Pakistan to vacate POK.
