Economic loss caused by lack of nationalism in India

We dont think where our tax is going. Each vote cast wrong is costing you lot more than you think.

(1) Indian government pays lot more directly to kashmir than any other state. (photo courtesy Sankhnaad)
These figures dont show  that how money is entirely siphoned to Kashmir and Jammu gets very very little. They are just pelting stones and shouting anti india slogans, there is abnormal situation half of the days, strike. But their poverty level is 3.5%, their income is maintained by government  . We Bihari people focus only on getting job, or doing some work, we work hard in farms, live on footpaths, and whole time stressed about getting some work. Still 34% of Bihar population lives below poverty line. In another border state Arunachal Pradesh, people work instead of pelting stones and burning government vehicles and buildings, but 39% people live below poverty line. Chhtisgarh 44%.

(2) Secondly lot more money goes in maintaining the army. Army rents houses, rent has to be paid, food is expensive as everything must be transported from UP, Punjab all the way to srinagar. Helipads, hospitals everything is costing exorbitantly.

(3) Each mortar, bullet, pallet everything is going from our pocket. One mortar is costing 48000 rupees.
Payments have to be made everyday to compensate for houses which gets destroyed during gun fight between terrorists and army. Compensation is paid for all damage incurred during operations for all human injuries.

(4) Country needs to buy many systems and weapons to prevent border infiltration. Lot of money goes in anti terrorist setups, surveillance operations on many different stages.

One incident I want to recall, in 2012 there was power cut in some place in valley and Kashmiris burnt govt buildings, attacked army and govt officials, mayhem continued for a week. While in my home town in Bihar, we got only 7-10 hour electricity, most of the summers transformer used to get fucked up and we lived without fan in hot summer, sleeping on roof under sky. Most of villages in my districts still dont have roads and electricity. We being Hindu are less deserving.
