India An Area of Darkness

 1) 700 women robbed of their uterus/kidney in Bihar.

2) Religion provides a group, and fulfils needs of human for community in which he has freinds, marriage relations, help, support. Community is also a home in which he lives. Muslim community is strong inspite of weak philosophy it has a strong brotherhood. People's basic needs are fulfilled. In my hometown in India I knew a mad woman, a lame Muslim beggar, and a blind beggar and all three were taken care by their society. Unlike Hindus who don't want to get dirty by neighbours.

3) Corruption in Bihar, bridge sanctioned in 2012, not complete even now.

4) Road gets stolen

5)

How beast like elephants and lions are domesticated?
You starve them, beat them and they become your slave. Slowly start feeding.
They behave as you want them to behave, they do what you want them to do.
Same way humans behave too.
If you are clever and brutal, people will follow you. That is the truth.
You can change people.
Except those who have a brain, very few people have that.
I was seeing photographs of Indian Legion of Nazi army.
They went to fight for British, were captured and made to fight for Germany.
Gengish Khan used to do same.
And Muslim conquerers of India did same, they expanded their army and control by converting Hindus to Islam.
Those neo converts were more loyal than blood turks.
Same way even most corrupt political parties have a band of loyalists.
There is poverty and those who become accomplice of party consider themselves lucky.
Infact everyone tries to do that.
Same way most Indians were actually bootlickers of British rulers, even so called royalty.
That belief in dharma died long ago, what was left was rituals. Upanishads mean nothing to a normal Hindu, but are magical words to get some luck. Swami Vivekanda and Tagore have observed the same. To survive they had to change. And those books had to be reduced to rituals. Or other way around, those books turned into rituals, so they had no motive power left to fight.
