It is during 2013-2014, that I used to be fan of Subramanian Swamy.
I liked his daily speeches, had not done much research on his activities, past etc.
Through Facebook page called Mother India which I had started I supported Modi ji and spread the news which anti-Hindu media did not highlight much.
Through some connections I learned about this group called S**nk*n**d. They also had hidden Facebook groups, and skype meetings, some of which I attended. Guys named C***** Arya, others, one of whom was staying in London. They all seemed very patriotic. I trusted them. The group itself was full of third class fools, working people with no analytical abilities, they talked aloud a lot of nonsense, and females were more vocal, they all were so confident, bashing and bragging, as if they are running India and shaping narrative. In the group they would decide and lobby for some topics to spread and argue.
This group has website, millions followers. Main handlers were young guys in late twenties or thirties, lived in USA, UK etc, worked in software companies.
These handlers said that some of them are continuously in touch with Subramanian Swamy, someone accompanies him time to time, and that Subramanian Swamy and their team have blueprint to spread all the so called truth in national interest on social media.
They told many things during phone and skype talks, spread many rumors, some being as follows:
1. Vajpayee ji has some dark sexual past which Sonia Gandhi knows and Sonia has sex tapes of Vjpayee. That Vajpayee tries to save Sonia and had got Rahul Gandhi released when he was PM, Rahul was caught with drugs in USA. Vajpayee is in the pocket of Sonia Gandhi. It fitted with narrative of Subramanian Swamy who was fighting court cases against Sonia and trying to get confidence of nationalists on social media.
2. Arum Jaitley is womanizer, he orders most expensive call girls when he visits Kolkata. He is a Congressman and Modi ji is naïve to keep him in his team. Subramanian Swami is trying to protect Modi. It also suited Subbus propaganda, as he kept foul mouthing he same in social media. He said they are trying to get evidence and once there is evidence, tapes he will be cornered.
Modi ji personally spoke to media and repudiated Subramanian Swamis public tirade against many like Arun Jaitley.
3. They claimed Advani ji also has some weakness and issues and he is also with Sonia. Modi is fighting alone and only Subramanian Swamy is with him.
4. I asked why did Swamy topple Vajpayee's govt in 1999, which he did when he was not taken into NDA as minister on behalf of AIADMK. They brought lots of same conspiracy theories against others.
What I realize now that they have made some sort of business and they might charge political parties for lobbying. CA also talked about algorithms of Facebook etc. They studied data.
I saw around 2014, many social media guys shifting from being completely pro-modi to pro AAP or pro Congress one example that Muslim BBC journalist Tufail Ahmad. Many went from Congress to Pro BJP.
Subramanian Swamy likes to be on the side of power, and when he is not given his pound of flesh, he harasses those responsible. Now he cant harass Modi because Modi cant be found guilty in corruption, unlike Sonia/Manmohan. Also Modi has mass support.
Subramanian Swami was close to Rajiv Gandhi, Indira Gandhi, Chandrasekhar, everyone.
Subramaniam Swamy on fall of Vajpayee government in 1998: " Fascist communal forces, represented by the RSS, which was controlling this government by proxy, I congratulate Ms Jay Lalitha first for being bold enough to withdraw support, to the Congress party for coming forward, and Mayawati for making this victory possible. They have saved the country from catastrophe...now we will go to 21st century with a new secular order....now ball is with president...he will invite the Congress party and Congress party will have to take necessary steps to create a secular coalition ". No wonder his daughter converted and married a Muslim.

Another example of a person like him is Yashwant Sinha, he quit IAS job, joined Congress, then Janata Dal, was Finance Minister in the govt of Chandrasekhar, then BJP. When he was in BJP, he intermingled with RSS, Swadeshi Jagaran Manch etc. To be in their good books. Then came Modi, who did not give him anything and he curses Modi now.
When late Pramod Mahajan was alive, he was considered to be serious contender to be heir of Vajpayee and Advani Ji. He attacked Modi Ji on Gujrat riots, I remember it came on AIR News bulletin. Not that he did not know the facts, but he was trying to cut Modi short.
Smriti Irani had threatened to get her head shaved, and demanded his resignation from Chief Minister position. She was fought Loksabha from Chandani Chowk in 2004, and blamed Modi for her loss.
There was one P* Chaterjee, from West Bengal, very active on Orkut between 2009-2011, in pro BJP/RSS groups...He always claimed to know all the truth about Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose. And to expose Congress, to do this do that. I talked on phone two three times. He always discredited others who shared same ideological space, if it conflicted his narrative. One of the persons about whom he spread rumors, was a Kolkata based Journalist Mr XYZ, I had met XYZ in Kolkata in Goal Park R K Mission library, XYZ was a patriotic journalist and did not talk ill of others, talked facts. I realized latter that guy P* Chaterjee wants to start his own political career.
A lot of social media content is paid. I don't object to that. But it is important to be aware.
I have seen people lobbying locally in RSS, some people join RSS to sell Life Insurance, some to spread their chartered accountant business, some want to stay free in RSS building etc. One old Swyamsevak who was very steadfast and had strong character, he had very poor visibility, had committed to become pracharak but due to poor eye sight was told to stay home and get married. We used to be only two people to come for shakha at right time. He said that I should never forget something "Yahan apna koi nahi hai." He was telling from his experience, "to always keep eyes open".
I was in college during bachelor (govt college), when one Professor who was also workshop in-charge told us poignantly that people (other profs) who lobbied against him used all sorts of allegations, one of them being allegation that he is a womanizer and harassed such and such staff. This woman trick is so common and omnipresent in India, where all is means to an end, end being money and power for the self.
I saw how people spread allegation about their enemies in mohalla and distant relations that someone daughter is pervert, someone wife is pervert. 16 years ago, during bachelor study, that guy Khan in hostel, he talked nicely with all of us, he was running a parallel business, supplying paratha, other stuff in hostel...he spread rumor that married Hindu lady in telephone booth nearby was a whore, she has biggest fucked up Bh****. I used her booth many times and first time I was calling home something crying, I was missing my family (first time out of home), she treated me like younger brother, she consoled me: "it will be ok, it happens, everyone feels alone initially then it becomes good, the students from this college they all do well, you will be happy". Her husband was there in the shop many times, well behaved, her children all good, never felt in four years that she can be a whore.
Doesn't mean that society is clean but what it means that here you cant trust people easily when they throw mud on others.
So the so the Subramanian Swamis pets couldn't come up with anything intelligent other than rumor of sexual tapes of Vajpayee, Advani, Jaitley etc. In India one can always get people to do anything as most of Indians stand for nothing except self interest.
I mean be cunning, and get what you want to get by all means, but such a shit-hole jahil ganwar ideas? That is not worthy of a man these people claim to be.
These petty mind people cant think more than that in India. Indians anyway don't think much. I have realized in last many years how important education and parallel development of critical thinking is. In some way all of us are prone to think like a Dehati Aurat, unless we keep working on our abilities and character, to keep our animal instincts down. We human beings are wretched and dumb things, our hunger, our ego makes us do many things which we wont approve in others.
Whenever I talk to others they always talk something very silly, like corona is not real, some nonsense...My roommate who was a SC, said brahmins mixed molten glass in the milk of Dr Ambedkar. I myself respect Dr Ambedkar for his ability for critical thinking and commitment. But the kind of stories which he spoke always went above my head. It is not just SC, most Indians talk nonsense time to time, regardless of caste and religion. Whenever talked to some Muslim or Christian, even those well educated they talked such silly theories of conspiracy that it fucked up my brain.
We also sometimes tend to have ill founded bias against Muslims. In my personal experience, most of Muslims were sort of extremely ignorant and did not know what they are talking. I am not telling that there is no intent and ill will in their part. I still think each individual is at least slightly different. Human psychology is very complex. Almost all of us, if born in a Muslim family would think like a normal Muslim. And Muslims too are Hindus born in Muslim family. We did not chose to be born in Hindu culture, it just happened. In my personal conduct I have always tried to be fair to the individual regardless of caste and religion, as I would want them to be, while not accepting any sort of nonsense from them.
Take example of Corona vaccination.
One person from company was telling, this vaccine is water, it is not useful, people don't trust it. Most Indians always talk about nonsensical rumors like that. It takes so much effort, and data, and inspections and approval at several stages to get sanction. To get it on the road. Vaccine has been developed by Oxford, and is being manufactured in India. Supplied to 90 countries. I said it cant just be water, and you cant supply water to countries like Canada, Brazil. Then he says, they have two vaccines, to Canada they are giving real vaccines, but here they are giving water. Then they said, govt is not sending enough vaccines in Mumbai, but sending vaccines abroad. To spread rumor and to discredit somebody, something you don't need any data, approval, paperwork, inspection. You only need mouth and a willing heart.
Nitish Kumar's Son Nishant is a decent, simple and good guy. How RJD spreads rumour about him, "ye nashedi hai, ganja leta hai".
It is so difficult to do anything positive, spreading rumor is easiest thing.
