Circling Muslim Shrines, Skull Cap Secularism: A Different Perspective

My mother went to attend Iftar party offered by a Hindu person (Headmaster of a Govt Highschool). Ladies in Burqa asked my mom, "Kalma bhi Padhiyega...". My mom naively said " Aap sikha dijiyega to kyo nahi padhenge..." 

I was seeing how much respect and sycophancy Hindus do to a Muslim lady DM of Shekhpura. She offers Holi party also and Hindus are overwhelmed. Hindu Muslim unity is true, and RSS is devil, they will site this example everywhere. 

Not withstanding that in 2020, during Saraswati Puja procession in Shekhpura, a JDU local leader was killed by Muslim mob.  

I don't mean that that lady DM is bad or something. She deserves all the respect as an individual and as a DM. She might or might not be a good secular person. But such limited information (in the sea of counter information suggesting opposite), cannot logically allow one to reach conclusions (about such big phenomena), which people reach so readily. 

I always hear that example from people who say...."..There was this muslim guy in train he allowed me to take shower after after I got down in Mumbai....".."My father had this muslim compounder, he always helped him stay absent from Arrah Hospital..."..."..My father was in village in Purnea, and his Muslim neighbors helped him...."...My father was stuck during riots...His muslim subordinates said, aap yahan se nikal jaiye sir, safe nahi hai...escorted him"

Once (2017) I boarded train in MUMBAI for Patna. There was one Bihari guy and one Mulla, who had come Mumbai to attend Jamait ulema e Hind conference. As soon as HIndu guy sees him,,some talk starts...He says himself without any context " Hindu me atankwadi nahi hota hai kya,... Hindu me bhi bahut atankwadi hai...(he kept talking for five minutes)"  Whole train he kept showering such things. That Mulla whole train kept talking, bringing out his obsession with Islam, in his Arabicized Urdu...

Almost all politicians etc go to majars to offer chadars, give Iftar parties and almost all so called intellectuals humanize every riot, every act of fanaticism by Muslims and blame Hindus for it. If offering a Holi party or something like that by one Muslim person can change everything, then all Hindus have done something like sometime in their life.  It is natural, Hindus visit Buddha temple, Jain temple, every time I visit Gurudwara, I see more Hindu than sardar. 

But I haven't heard any Muslim telling such story about any Hindu, being grateful to Hindus tolerating them, cajoling them, bearing their violence and still always telling very good to them. We Hindus are doing this with Muslims also for thousand years, like an amnesia patient forgetting everything immediately and keeping our arms open, repeatedly begging them to accept our embrace. See in your daily life, each Muslim has been helped many many times in his life by some Hindu. In their daily lives they are helped by some Hindu only. Hindu is doctor, employer, colleague, boss, neighbor, govt employee. Each Muslim has been protected if we can say by Hindu people, so much that in most remote villages a single Muslim family of few Muslim families surrounded by Hindus live comfortably without any fear, opposite is not true. Hindu society forgotten even injuries of partition, in which they voted for Pakistan. But have you ever heard any word of gratefulness? His religion will never allow him to take a Hindu or any non-Muslim as equal. That lady DM also might have many Hindu seniors in ministry etc, treating her well with respect (I am not dragging anyone, she might be a good person). But that is taken as normal. She doesn't have to think that Hindus are very good people, Owaisi is devil. 

March 2017, I went airport to pick up a Muslim friends mother, who was coming from UP. Whole way she kept talking bad, harshly about Modi, Yogi, BJP, RSS, ShivSena. Falsely telling that Shivsena men used to stare and track her daughter in law (pure imagination, all her talk was imagination). Can I talk such things about Owaisi, even facts to a Muslim person? Why this dichotomy?

Somebody crosses Wagha border for one day, and then makes YouTube video, oh Pakistan is a great country, great hospitality. Pakistanis come here, great treated for life threatening diseases like certain kind of cancer etc, for free. They don't tell after going back that India is great. And once while travelling through Egypt, I asked taxi driver if I can marry Egyptian girl, he said yes, after becoming Muslim. No Pakistani will accept a Hindu man marrying, or give up claim on Kashmir, or ask to remove that falsehood about Hindus in their history books. 

Hindus did that for thousand years, and still doing. Raja of Amarkot gave shelter to that foreigner Humayun and Akbar was born in his premises, his safety, his hospitality. Raja Man Singh and others gave their sisters. Raja Ram Singh and Jaswant Singh did their services to Aurangzeb. But did it change Muslim mind? Gandhi sacrificed thousands and thousands of Hindu lives to create brotherhood. But did not get anything in response, no Muslim voted on the appeal of Gandhi in 1946.  

Hindus always pretend to know Muslims more than Muslims themselves, without knowing anything, or studying anything about their worldview, religion etc. Hindus are simply willing to believe in everything which makes them believe what they want to believe about Muslims. So every act of lie, deceit is not only accepted by open arms, but even exaggerated. 

I remembered how my colleagues heaped excess exaltation on the Muslim guy in our team. That is not natural. When he resigned and was going back Delhi, all the ladies were asking to come to Delhi in his marriage. 

How they see it? Kissinger tells his boss Richard Nixon, “They [Indians] are superb flatterers, Mr President,”  “They are masters at flattery. They are masters at subtle flattery. That’s how they survived 600 years. They suck up — their great skill is to suck up to people in key positions.”

Sometimes we do it naively, like my mother did, she didnot know what Kalma means. While other times we practice it as skill or due to ignorance. Our royalties and Babu Sahib sucked up to British, before that to Mughals. We see that kind of thing in Kind of Muslim characters we put in the movies, very patriotic and a communal Hindu character. That is what we like to see and show to Muslims. When British were there in India, we did similar buttering to them. 

Don't we suck to all corrupt politicians, mafia, and bureaucrats in our personal lives?
