In India, as long as you are Jat, Dalot, Brahmin, Bihari, Marathi etc, you are the vote bank of parties, no one will have any problem with it. Media and politicians will even encourage more divisions. But the moment you say you are Hindu, all those parties, media, so called intellectuals start hating you.
It is November 2020, let us see how the Congress pet media promoted caste narrative around Bihar elections.

You can see the authors name. Let me talk about facts first. Until 30 years ago, it was all Congress from Panchayat to Parliament in Bihar, so all fingers point to them only. Population of upper caste in Bihar is around 16 percent. Representation of upper castes has been almost similar since 1990s in Bihar. This time in 2020 it is 26 percent. It was 23 percent in 2015 and 36 percent in 2010. NDA has given Chief Minister post to OBC, two deputy CM are OBC and EBC woman (first woman in history of Bihar). From what angle it is upper caste coming to power first time in 30 years?
Now let us talk about Congress. This time (2020 assembly election) Congress gave 34 tickets out of 70 to upper castes. While 50%+ BC were given only 10 seats of 70. Congress gave ticket to Dalit only on Dalit reserved seat, like all parties. Almost all congress functionaries in Bihar are from upper caste or Muslim.
In the Congress days until 1990, upper caste used to be between 40-50 percent in assembly and more than 60% Congress MLA came from upper caste. During 40 years of Congress Rule in Bihar, all Chief Ministers came from 6-7% population group. SC/ST formed 25% and OBC close to 50 % of population in Bihar when Bihar Jharkhand was one state. Why did not Congress give representation then to OBC and SC? But these facts go un-noticed and Congress spin masters manage to keep an opposite narrative at least in media and among people who form opinion solely form media propaganda. Only Dalit congress chief Sitaram Kesari was thrown out of Congress office at midnight on the behest of Sonia Gandhi.
Mind that 14 percent Yadavs had 26 percent representation in assembly in 2015, this time also it is more than 20%. RJD only asks votes in the name of caste and religion. Every second RJD MLA is Yadav in all assemblies. Most notorious upper caste goon Anant Singh has won assembly(2020) on the ticket of RJD. Biggest victims of Jungle Raj were not upper castes, but Dalit and low caste Hindu. Lalus goons wont try capturing booth in upper caste populated villages. They would go to villages in which mostly poor Dalits live, dalit and poor low caste couldn't offer any resistance.
But Congress spin masters called it heaven. Congress media wrote:
NDA won in Bihar by reminding people of ‘Jungle Raj’. But data shows it’s a myth. ....Crime increased during rein of Nitish Kumar....
Fact is that in Lalu era, data was not captured. Cases were not filed, people were too afraid to go to police. Because police was another extension of Party. Any neutral person from Bihar can tell you this.
Maulavis give fatwa to vote for RJD. Lalu paraded look like of Osama Bin Laden in election rallies, formed Banrjee commission (struck down by Supreme Court) as Rail Minsiter to whitewash Godhara train burning and RJD distributed cassettes of Gujrat riots, Godhara etc in Bihar Muslim population in remote villages also. But spin masters turn such things into secularism.
I recall during my childhood two riots took place in Bihar Sharif. Both times only Hindus were jailed indiscriminately, thousands of them. Police raided areas in which poor SC and low caste people lived and arrested any youth between 15-30 age. Some of my schoolmate got arrested. While Muslim rioters were given free hand.
After Lok Sabha Congress spin masters gave similar narrative.
Again see the name of Authors. These Muslims only care about their own religion and growth of Muslims in Politics. To suit their agenda of maligning and dividing anything that comes in their way, they put this kind of narrative.

So what has changed in 2020 assembly elections? What changed is Congress and its allies will be out of power for about 15 years. Congress has got best spin masters in media, so called liberal organization, universities, aided by left-Islamism networks in India and abroad.
Congress did not encourage and nurture Dalit leadership. Congress used them as dependents. And they will cease to be dependent if they improve. Congress limited them to alms. They were always seen as one patronizes Dalits, not equals. It is like talking nicely to your maid, giving her some extra money in Holi Diwali, to feel great (Mind it nobody is maid or servant in his own home). Indira Gandhi would call Jagjiwan Ram "Babuji", that word Babuji brought her votes without doing anything. 55 years in rule, why Dalit are still so weak? Why administration is not transparent? During congress rule low castes in Bihar were extremely under represented because they did not have reservation in assembly like Dalits, nor Congress cared. With time when they become conscious and started questioning, the angry undercurrent was at its peak during Mandal Commission which burst and toppled Congress governments in several big states like, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Bihar in 1990s. Dalits formed own parties like BSP. Now congress is left without any base in masses except in Muslims. But it has strong base in Media and JNU circles, where ideological Islamism lobbyists and leftists make moral victory of every electoral loss of Congress and manage to confuse a big chunk of middle class.
When Congress is out of power it randomly cooks up stories like in case of Hathras, Rohit Vemula (who committed suicide) media works synchronously showing only few incidents from particular BJP states, creating a narrative with sometimes completely false narrative. BJP took a leaf and tried to do same in SSR case. Congress when out of power organizes Intolerance, Democracy is in danger, Award Wapsi, Dalit riots like Bhima Koregaon or puts petrol on any incident/riot which takes place spontaneously. Before 2014, they said whole country will burn if Modi comes to power. They wished that country burned, so that they can come to power, but country did not burn. If nothing at all happens, they pay people, to create fake news. Like SP people paid men to wear saffron Kurta and beat a Kashmiri fruit vendor, and media telecasts it as Hindu terrorism, or like Kejriwal men paid to burn Quran in Punjab. They cant offer anything in governance, economy.
This ecosystem promotes Hindu-phobia to win Muslim/Christian votes and divides Hindus to get votes of some of Hindu castes. While makes a normal Hindu feel guilty about his culture etc, so as to justify all this. This ecosystem justifies corrupt like Lalu and his illiterate as savior.
Well Jagannath Mishra was a Congressi CM. But these people can conjure up anything. By same logic they are haunting a low caste Modi, but they have managed to create an atmosphere in which low caste Modi is seen as upper caste.
This is effective because middle class of India is not as intelligent as it takes itself to be. They are simply buffon who have got some money first time and they eat pizza and ride cars and they think they know and understand everything there is to know. So one of my friends says..there is terrorism in India..RSS is terrorist organization...in this country nobody feels safe....what is happening in UP, back to back too many cases against Dalits in Yogi Raj.... These people have never stepped out of their airconditioned homes and offices to ask Dalits in their vicinity, what is their problem. There are hundreds of cases in almost all states with big populations in which victim is Dalit and perpetrator is non Dalit. Their poverty makes them easy prey many times. Not all of these crimes are motivated by caste discrimination (I have friends from all groups but never felt much difference. It is not the case in rural areas, but still no low caste had to leave any area like one has to do in Kashmir, Kairana, Pakistan, Bangladesh). But only some of cases are selected by media under the guidance of secular parties to suit their agenda. Cases like this Dalit man who was forcibly converted to Islam and threatened of death when he wanted to get back...such cases are considered secular and not taken.

Some person has enlisted on twitter a list of hate crime against Hindus which appeared in corners of news, 277 crimes since 1st July 2020 till 28 October 2020. Most of these crimes were against Dalits, and backward castes, rape of Dalit girl, forcible conversion etc. And these did involve religious cause, these were not just a friction and then incident happened. These were only taken as a footnote.

When killer or rapist is a Muslim, religion is not mentioned in the news, it appears once and then not followed. Only when culprit is Hindu one one of hundred cases it is trumpeted and taken to UN.
Middle class doesn't have time to think. Individuals think they are expert on RSS, politics everything. They dont care, until they become victim themselves. These people read fictional stories about RSS in news and shape foolish ideas. For example there are lots of news on how RSS is supporting thing, doing that before this election. I am also in touch with RSS regularly, I never knew or saw or heard about these things which they write in the news. These editors and journalist are incapable of doing any research, putting effort to get story, so they competitively write fiction to suit the ongoing narrative, bahti ganga...
When I countered all media opinions of a friend with facts One friend said that we have different ideologies. When people can't be right with facts on basis of which they form opinion, can't can't see simple lies, how can they be trusted with big words like their idea of their ideology?
Watching TV, I see how foolish and dumb news anchors are, they don't have common sense knowledge and zero research on topics on which they talk so exuberantly. No knowledge about voter issues. After exit polls, before results they were giving hundreds of reason why Tejaswi was winning and how they all saw it. After results they all change their talk.
These people in media, so called intellectuals they live in nice houses, and talk about communism. One of my friends said she is proud to be considered communist. If they have to live he fate of masses in communist system they will be first to get mad.
Congress and so called secular parties are family business or a conglomeration of many opportunist individuals who benefit form Congress rule and system. For them no caste is their own. They just care about self. They rely mostly on cooking up stories and narratives which will brainwash masses to put power in their hands as protectors and liberators. For this they ally with powerful lobbies like Muslim lobby or communist lobby. This wall between being a person with ideology and working for self interest is almost non-existent. Even most of the people in communist parties are not driven by any ideology other than self interest. In this country there are only two ideologies, one of Islamists and one of nationalists who believe in Indian heritage, culture history. Others are confused people or faking.
RS R is one alumni of my college, he was GM of ONGC, from influential family. His uncles were minister in Indira Gandhi govt. He says to me after coming of Modi "Pata nahi ye desh rahega bhi ya tut jaega..lagta to nhai hai..ki rahega.....Hinduism bahut galat hai... caste system is evil...BJP dharam ke naam par desh ko tod rahi hai..". His two children live and are married in USA. He has four houses in metros. He has many cars, dogs, servants. Whole life he enjoyed power. Now when Congress lost power, he is telling all these things. He doesnot care about anyone, about people or country. He robbed the govt like most bureaucrats, had lavish life. Personally he said nobody can be trusted in the world unless there is some give and take relation.
ARVK was one of senior colleagues when I was in survey. He is Brahmin by caste, wears janaeu, very wealthy. But hardcore Islamist. Sucked Rahul Gandhi all the time and very strongly hated Modi, with weird theories like that of Rajdeep or Yogendra Yadav....." Modi itn ghatiya politician hai..."
Probably he had congress background, Mithila area in Bihar was congress stronghold and there are too many families who benefitted from congress raj, became MLA, MP etc...riding Congress power. These people now hate Modi. Same with many other people like one guy Pit Jha, from same area. One my batchmate AJha, personally wont eat with Muslims but talked secular all the time, his uncle was Congress MLA.
Biggest sufferers of communalism has been Dalit and low castes. Take example of East Bengal. Bengali Brahmins swiftly moved out of there as they had cousins, aunties, friends in Kolkata, Texas and Jamshedpur etc. Who stayed in Bangladesh were Namashudra who were too poor to move out. What they will do in Kolkata? They only worked in farms. They don't have enough to rebuild huts in a new unknown place. Similar in Sindh where 28 percent Hindu population in 1941 dropped to 5 percent post 1947. Who stayed there? Illiterate untouchable Hindu castes. Too poor to move out unlike affluent Sindhi Hindus of Karachi who easily moved to Mumbai, Indore, Jaipur etc. It is same in India, that in every big riot low caste, economically weaker sections, Dalits, Tribal suffer. Middle class leaves the place at drop of hat for safer places. Most of the Christian in Pakistan are Dalits who couldn't immigrate to India and did not want to become Muslim, to save lives they became Christian. Bhimrao Ambedkar made appeal to Dalits in Pakistan to not to convert to Islam under pressure, instead migrate to India.
Narrative Congress party feeds to them is that Hinduism is an extremely discriminatory and evil culture, ancestors of low caste and tribal Hindus are different race, and good comes from Christianity and Islam. Great emperors were Babur, Gori and Aurangzeb. Congress ensured that Dr Ambedkar loses deposit in both elections he fought. Such a brilliant mind was rarely consulted after 1950s, was kept out of government.
People say BJP also opposed many of the positive reforms during Congress rule. I agree with that. But my problem with so called secular lines is that the kind of medium and message they chose to pursue their politics is anti-national. They seek support from anti-India elements of all sorts. Like Rahul Gandhi telling American public that there is Hindu terrorism which is more dangerous than Islamic terrorism and world should know and act about it. From being anti-Modi they routinely act along anti-national lines. It can be expected because most of these political parties are family business, with only agenda of getting power and wealth, joined by similar selfish elements (a good portion of average Indian is still a third class person, with no notion of value system, no brain, will do anything for money) in society all working as self interest mercenaries.
From back of my hand I can say that, in India 99.99 % of Dalit and tribal, 97 % of OBC, and 90 % of UC genes are native races (Some people want to believe that they are superior race, but they are as silly as Indian Muslims who think they are superior Arab or Turkish race, not Hindu convert). All these billions of people have history and heritage connected to this land. They cant all immigrate to USA and become white. They produced heroes, like Buddha, Ashok, Nanak, Ravidas, Tukaram etc...It is very silly that these so called intellectuals who call for pluralism and diversity, cant find any good in millions and millions of the ancestors which these poor people had. Instead the idea of finding heroes and inspiration in third class rapists and murdering cultures form middle east is cooked by wealthy propagandist in their luxurious dining halls while they themselves send their children to USA.
